Today, it is essential for the students to learn and master the latest technologies in order to be techno ready. As a consequence, teachers are combining technology with the traditional mode of instruction to engage students in long-term learning. School uses Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools in teaching-learning to support, enhance, and optimize the delivery of education. Faculty members use LCDs and projectors to deliver lectures through power-point presentations in their classes. Owing to Covid pandemic, online classes were conducted during the year 2020 to 2021. This provided an opportunity to integrate ICT in day to day teaching activities. WhatsApp group were created for each semester of BE/ME course, wherein various subject teachers and students got registered. It was used to provide some important notice and sharing the links of online classes with the students. Online classes were conducted on Google meet, wherein the google meet link was shared with the students on their WhatsApp group. Further google classrooms were created for each subject and that was used to share ppts, course material and assignments. Students also submitted their assignments on this platform. Online quizzes were designed and conducted on google classroom to evaluate the students understanding of the topic. Instead of using the chalkboards, interactive digital whiteboards were used for explaining the topic. In addition to this, practical labs were conducted using online simulators like CircuitLab, TINA, NetBeans etc. Virtual labs by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay were accessed for conducting the labs during this period. Even after this pandemic, ICT has now become integral to the teaching learning interaction. Online attendance system using mobile app has also been introduced during this period. This system of online attendance is also available on faculty portal so that the faculty can maintain students records digitally.
